Tom Richardson

Vice President, Commercial and Residential Lending

Tom Richardson serves both commercial and residential customers in Lancaster, Northumberland, and Middlesex counties, helping them secure the funds they need to reach their goals. This lending specialist has a Master’s in Business Administration from The College of William & Mary, and he also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.  

Prior to working in banking, Tom received his undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and flew both in corporate aviation and then for the US Navy. Along with his role at Chesapeake Bank, he also serves on the Lancaster County Planning Commission, is Chairman of Virginia Quality Life, Treasurer of the Rappahannock River Yacht Club and past President of the Lancaster By the Bay Chamber and the Lancaster Community Library. Tom is based in our Kilmarnock office.
