What are tokens?

Chesapeake Bank will be taking the security for your business to a whole new level with the new Security Tokens. These tokens...

• ...are small enough to fit on your keychain
• ...contain a unique one time numeric password that changes every 60 seconds
• ...will be required for all Business Online customers to access their online banking
• ...are unique to each employee of your business that has a logon to Cash Management.

These new tokens will be integrated into your online banking accounts. Once activated the token must be in your possession to login - access will require the token (something you have), your password (something you know), and your logon ID.

YOUR BUSINESS CAN NOW HAVE AN ADDED LAYER OF SECURITY AND COMFORT WITH ONLINE TRANSACTIONS!

You can now have more confidence in with your business's online transactions. If a password is lost or stolen, the thief must also know the six digit numeric password that appears on your token for 60 seconds only.

Your Business Development officer(s) will contact you between late March and late June to setup an appointment. During this visit they will review these tokens and the simple procedure involved to setup and use the added security. As an extra measure our Information Technology Manager will be tagging along to review some additional security tools we have implemented and openly discuss ways that you may be able to increase your protection.
